快訊／威爾史密斯發文正式向克里斯洛克道歉：「我成為了我最不想成為的那種人」

甫獲得《第94屆奧斯卡金像獎》影帝的威爾史密斯（Will Smith），卻因於典禮上護妻心切衝上台賞了克里斯洛克（Chris Rock）一巴掌響遍全球引發高度關注，經過一天的時間後，威爾史密斯於IG上正式向克里斯洛克道歉。

威爾史密斯於IG上表示，各種形式的暴力都是無法不可接受也不可原諒，他可以接受開他自己本人玩笑，但以妻子的健康狀況來開玩笑他無法接受，導致他情緒失控而失態。他於IG上正式向克里斯洛克公開道歉，提到「我錯了！我很尷尬，我成為了我最不想成為的那種人」，這世界應該充滿愛與善意，沒有暴力的容身之地。同時威爾史密斯也正式向奧斯卡官方、節目製作人以及所有的與會人員、全球正在觀看的人道歉，也向威廉姆斯家族和我的理查德國王家族道歉，對於他的行為玷污了所有人原本美好的旅程感到抱歉。

Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.

I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.  
 
I would also like to apologize to the Academy, the producers of the show, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world. I would like to apologize to the Williams Family and my King Richard Family. I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us.
